Freestyle Motocross

Friday - 7:30PM -

Greetings from Rochester, New York; where round number one of the Freestyle Motocross Tour kicked off. It was a wild night with excitement coming from every direction, including, “The Globe of Death”, and, “The Hell on Wheels BMX Freestyle Team”. Moving to Freestyle Motocross, the top four qualifiers were Dan Nealth, Casey Higgins of New York, G-Rob known as Garry Robertson and the young gun, Brody Wilson.

The Team FMX dynamic duo Scott Hanlon and Brody Wilson bested the other three teams by scoring a phenomenal 93.5 for the win. In the finals, Casey Higgins, the local favorite was in the HOT SEAT until the final competitor, Brody Wilson through out a flawless routine and scored a 94 which won him the title for the evening. Saturday - 7:30PM -

The weather was cold and blustery on the outside of the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York for round two of the FMX tour, but the action was hot on the inside. During qualifying, less than three points separated the top three who were Casey Higgins, G-Rob, and Dan Newth, with Scott Hanlon of Pennsylvania rounding out the top four qualifiers. In the main, Hanlon busted some big tricks, but still came up short to Newth, Robertson and Higgins, which incidentally was the way they finished. G-Rob put in a great set of tricks; however it was the hometown favorite, Casey Higgins, of nearby Bath, New York that walked away atop the podium. Higgins and Robertson also teamed up to win the Team FMX title for the evening.

This was an excellent start to the FMX season which boasted large and loud crowds, and a show in which everyone walked away smiling. On another note, our best wishes go out to little Eli, who has a physical condition. Everyone from Live Nation, Hell on Wheels, and the Globe of Death came together to put some sunshine in this youngsters life, it makes me very proud to be a part of this winning team.
