Freestyle Motocross
IFMA Freestyle Motocross
Manchester, NM
Friday 7:30PM -
The crowd was electric for Friday night's show. The Verizon Wireless Center could barely contain the non-stop high flying action as Freestyle Motocross invaded New Hampshire. Eight riders took the floor and went big. When the dust settled from the two qualifiers Shawn Connors, Jack Rowe, Thomas Alves and Slade Waltman were left to battle for the Toyota Hot Seat. Waltman laid down a solid run but Thomas “T Money” Alves went huge with three back flips to take his spot on the Hot Seat. Jack Rowe did his best to knock T Money off the Throne but Rowe came up just shy. The local favorite Shawn Connors was our final rider and even with the hometown support he was unable to take the top spot from Alves. The night ended with a great encore featuring all eight FMXers and the Hell On Wheels BMX riders. David Knisley

The capacity crowd that packed the Verizon Wireless Center in Manchester was treated to a phenomenal show. The house was rockin’ as New England screamed themselves hoarse cheering the riders on to go huge. Nine riders went all out with only four making it to the finals. Those riders were Jack “Air Force” Rowe, his brother Jason “Chi-Town” Rowe, Shawn “Redneck” Connors and Thomas “T-Money” Alves. The four top riders had to cool their heels while the doubles competition took off. When it was all said and done the Rowe brothers were the top dogs. Hell On Wheels BMX followed them and had the crowd in a frenzy for the Naults Honda Powerhouse final. Again Jack and Jason Rowe put up some big numbers on their individual finals’ runs but came up short as Thomas Alves threw down three back flips to supplant them in the Toyota Hot Seat. The local kid Shawn Connors went huge on his final run but ended up just shy in his bid for the win, making Thomas Alves our IFMA FMX winner of Manchester, New Hampshire. David Knisley
