Saturday 8:00 PM

Tonight was for sure a great show here in Baton Rouge. For the first time we implemented a live band for a whole new look and sound to the show. It was awesome! The band came from Pensacola and they rocked the house… “It Starts Today” is on the Warped Tour and you can find them on myspace at www.myspace.com/itstartstoday take a listen.

Making the FMX Finals was Slade Waltman, Garry Robertson, Clint Espisito, and Jason Rowe. In the Big Trick Tourney it was narrowed down to new kid Trevor Wilder and Aussie import, Matt “Magic” Cole. Tyler came out first and threw a big dead body. And Magic stuck a huge K.O.D. In the end it was Magic Cole taking the win.

Once again after intermission the crowd would be blown away by the Cannonlady… the lovely Jennifer Schneider. She blasted 115 feet across the arena floor! As the night heated up here in Louisiana, Geoff Aaron “The Mosquito” was for sure a big hit. Let’s just say the hand is going to get tired from signing tonight.

In the FMX Finals it would come down to Garry Robertson and Jason Rowe. Garry was sitting solid with a 92.0 in the “Jack In The Box” Hotseat. But with Jason Rowe out last it was sure to come down to the line. Chi-Town had the Ladder, nailed the Helicopter, and pounded it in with KOD! In the end, Jason would win with a 92.5.

What a night in Baton Rouge… FMX is alive and well in Cajun country!

Peace,
Sharpie
