What started out as just a hobby for Julian D’usseau has since turned into a way of life. “I started just doing tricks for fun, and then I got invited to a contest and starting getting paid,” says the Yamaha-mounted rider.
Since then, Julian has been a consistent rider. He got a big break in 2001, when one of his sponsors, Warpt Industries, invited him to Japan to do a contest. “I went to Japan and ended up taking first place in both the freestyle and step-up contests in 2001,” explains Julian. “It was sweet going to Japan.”
Since then, D’usseau has recorded several top-five finishes in the IFMA Series, fourth being his highest. For 2006, Julian has picked up support from 74 Motorsports and SMP, and he just hopes to “ride as much as possible and try to stay healthy.”
